Welcome to Regional Development Australia Mackay Whitsunday

Regional Development Australia Mackay Whitsunday Inc. supports the three regional council areas of Mackay, Isaac and Whitsundays and is a collaborative initiative of the Australian Government and State of Queensland.  It aims to bring together all levels of government to enhance the growth and development of regional Australia.

The key functions of the national RDA network are:

• Consult and Engage with the community
• Inform Regional Planning
• Engage in Whole of Government Activities
• Promoting whole of government programs policies and initiatives
• Community and Economic Development
